Which slide fits your Crown Point party?

Two questions. No email, no phone number, no catch.

1Ages

2Slide or combo

Question 1 of 2

Who is the oldest kid riding?

Question 2 of 2

Slide only, or bounce too?

Thirteen wet units in the fleet

One slide is short enough for this age

There is really one pure slide we would put a five year old on. If you want a second option at this age it is a wet combo, because the climb is shorter and there is somewhere to go between runs.

A wet combo they can bounce in and slide down

The bounce floor is what keeps a six year old busy between slide runs, which is most of what they actually do at a water party. These are the two cheapest wet units we run.

Start with a combo, look at the Dolphin second

At this age the combo is the safer pick. The 15ft Dolphin is the one pure slide worth considering if they are confident on a ladder.

Eighteen feet, two lanes, pick your print

Seven to twelve is the age that wants to beat somebody down the slide. These two are the same height and the same price, so it comes down to which one they like the look of.

A wet combo with a theme and a second slide lane

If younger siblings are coming, the bounce floor stops the whole party being a queue for the ladder. Both of these have a theme this age asks for.

The pure slide wins on a hot day, the combo wins on a mixed guest list

Both work at this age. If it is going to be ninety degrees and they are all seven and up, take the Shark. If younger ones are coming, take the combo.

Twenty two feet or twenty seven. Nothing shorter

Teenagers and adults will not queue for a fifteen foot slide. These are the two tallest pure slides we own, and the 26ft with the slip n slide and pool sits between them on the grid below.

The two largest wet combos

A wide age range still wants a bounce floor for the smaller guests. These are the biggest wet combos we run, so the older ones get a real slide out of them too.

Go tall, but keep a bounce floor in the yard

The usual answer for a mixed crowd is one tall slide for the older ones and a combo for everybody else. Both are on the same delivery.

The whole wet fleet, free on your date

Set your event date first. Once it is in, the grid stops showing units that are already booked that day, which saves you falling for something that is not available.

Crown Point first, then Cedar Lake, Merrillville, St. John, Lowell, Schererville and the rest of the 219.

A deposit holds the date. Balance is due at setup.

What to know before you book

Five things that are easier to read now than to hear on the day.

The deposit holds the date

It is non-refundable, because the moment you pay it that unit comes off the calendar for everyone else.

Bad weather is a phone call

Not an email and not a form. Rescheduling may be available, and we ask for 24 hours notice where we can get it.

You supply water and power

A working spigot, a garden hose that actually reaches the slide, and one standard outlet within 50 feet of it.

One rider per lane

A double lane slide takes one rider in each lane at the same time. That is the rule that keeps the day boring in the good way.

Cleaned before every rental

Every unit is cleaned and sanitized before it leaves us. Before every rental, not at the end of a busy weekend.

How a Crown Point delivery runs

Select a step to see what happens in it.

Your date comes first, not the slide

Put the event date and the delivery address in. The grid stops showing anything already booked that day, so you never fall for a slide that was never available.

  • Takes under a minute
  • No account to create
  • Delivery fee is quoted against your address

Height is the decision that matters

Thirteen wet units, every one photographed. Check the dimensions on the product page against your yard, and look up for branches and power lines over the setup spot before you commit.

  • Wet combos from $345.05
  • Tallest is the 27ft double lane with slip n slide
  • Add a foam cannon to the same order

We position it, stake it down and show you the blower

The crew arrives, places the unit, anchors it and connects it. You point us at the hose and the outlet. The balance is due at this point, cash or check.

  • Garden hose has to reach the setup spot
  • Mark sprinkler heads and buried lines first
  • Think about where the water will drain

Teardown is ours

We return at the end of your window and take it away. You fold nothing, load nothing and drive nowhere.

  • Nothing to return
  • Nothing to clean
  • Every unit is sanitized before it goes out again

Which part of Crown Point are you in?

We deliver to Copper Creek.

Tell us the street and the date and we confirm the delivery fee before you pay anything. Text us about Copper Creek

Most weekends we are in Ellendale Farms, Doubletree Lake Estates, Providence at Stonegate, Copper Creek, Pentwater, Edgewater, Regency, White Hawk, Prairie View, Wyndham Woods, Waterside Crossing and Lakes of the Four Seasons. Not on the list? It is almost certainly still in range, so text us the street name instead.

Two things decide whether a wet unit works in a yard, and neither is how big the yard is. The hose has to reach the setup spot, and the water needs somewhere to go once it leaves the slide. A gentle slope away from the house is ideal. A flat yard that still holds puddles two days after rain is the one to think twice about.

Older streets closer to the Square have the tighter gates and the narrower side returns. Tell us when you book if the only way into the back is through a gate, and we will bring the right unit and the right crew for it rather than finding out in your driveway.

Setting up in a Crown Point park

We deliver to parks as well as back yards, but the space itself is booked with whoever runs it. Most go through Crown Point Parks and Recreation. Lemon Lake does not, which is what catches people out.

Bulldog Park Sauerman Woods Park Lemon Lake County Park Rohrman Park Lake County Fairgrounds

Bulldog Park

183 S. West St.

Pavilion and amphitheater, booked through the city PACE department rather than through us. Ask them specifically about water units when you reserve the space, because a wet slide needs a spigot the hose will reach and somewhere for the runoff to go.

Sauerman Woods Park

1000 E. South St.

Crown Point Parks and Recreation. Confirm the shelter you have booked is close enough to both a water source and an outlet, since the blower runs the whole time the slide is up.

Lemon Lake County Park

6322 W. 133rd Ave.

This one is Lake County Parks, not the city, so it is a separate booking and a separate set of rules. Worth knowing before you spend a morning on the phone to the wrong office.

Rohrman Park

Crown Point Parks and Recreation

Smaller neighborhood park. Tell us where the shelter sits relative to the parking when you book, so the crew can plan the carry rather than discover it.

Lake County Fairgrounds

889 S. Court St.

Big open ground, usually the right answer for a large community event. Power and water access vary by where they place you, so check both with the grounds before your date.

The Hall family, owners of Bouncy B's in Crown Point, Indiana

One bad rental, nine years ago

We rented a bounce house for a Fourth of July party. The communication was poor and the service was worse. So we bought our own inflatable, then bought a small local rental company that was closing: a trailer, a phone number and a handful of units.

That is Bouncy B's. The name comes from our three kids, Brayden, Bryce and Briella. Ray, Meghan and the kids still answer the phone and pull into your driveway.

Crown Point water slide questions

Tap any question to open it.

How much space do I need for a water slide?

It depends on the unit. The taller slides need more clearance than the smaller ones, so measure your setup area and check the dimensions listed on the product page. Tall units need overhead room too, so look up for branches and power lines before you book.

Do water slides need a water source?

Yes. You need a working water source and a standard garden hose that reaches the setup area. Water runs continuously while the slide is in use, so think about where it is going to drain before you pick the spot.

Do water slides need electricity?

Yes. One standard household outlet within 50 feet of the setup area, and the blower runs for the whole event.

What ages are water slides suitable for?

Most are built for children and teenagers. The guidance varies by unit, so follow the rider guidelines listed for the slide you pick.

How many people can use a water slide at one time?

Usually one rider per lane. A double lane slide takes one rider in each lane at the same time.

Can a water slide be set up on concrete?

Some units can be installed on hard surfaces, others need grass for proper anchoring. If there is no grassy setup area, contact us before booking so we can talk through the options for the unit you want.

What do I need to have ready before setup?

Clear the setup area of obstacles, debris, toys, lawn furniture and pet waste. Mow before delivery day rather than on the morning, and leave a clear path so the crew can get the unit through to the spot.

What happens if it rains on my event day?

Safety comes first. If severe weather is expected we may recommend postponing, and rescheduling options may be available. We ask that weather related requests be made at least 24 hours before your event wherever possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable, because the deposit is what holds the equipment and the date for you. Weather related rescheduling may be available if you give us enough notice.

Are water slides cleaned between rentals?

Yes. Every unit is cleaned and sanitized before every rental, not just at the end of a busy weekend.

How far ahead should I reserve a water slide?

Summer weekends, holidays and peak dates go quickly. Booking early gives you the best selection for your date, and the deposit is what actually holds it.

Do you deliver water slides to Crown Point parks?

Yes, but the space itself is booked with whoever runs the park, not with us. Most Crown Point parks go through Crown Point Parks and Recreation, while Lemon Lake County Park is Lake County Parks and is a separate booking. Check with them about water and runoff before you reserve the unit.

Is there a delivery fee within Crown Point?

Delivery is quoted against your address at checkout, so you see the figure before you pay rather than after. Crown Point is where we are based, so it is the shortest run we make.
